After several attempts, my first success with a metal hook. 100% designed on the computer in 3d, then shipped off to a 3d printing lab and printed out in solid stainless steel with a copper wire wrap. Originally I was going have gold plated inlays but ditched the idea to keep the cost down.

Update: After receiving a good number of inquiries on everything from "can I take it in the water?" to "how much does it weigh?" to "if I boil it in chicken stock will the resulting broth go well with cucumber sandwiches?" I decided it would be best to add some more info.

a.What are the dimensions? 2" by 1 1/4"
b.How much does it weight? 31.6grams(or 6 nickels and a dime if you want to compare)
c.Are you going to sell it? YES! I am shooting for around 50 bucks(that nets me about 5 bucks per hook, 3d stainless printing is expensive, but Im cool with that, its more about the kick I get knowing someone digs my art enough to wear it than the money) I am planning on doing a batch order in the month of March. PM me if you are interested.
d.Does it go good with cucumber sandwiches? I would have to lean towards no. But to answer the other question, it is water proof.

Hey thank you! I had a pre-order awhile back, but will still take orders if you are interested. $50 bucks US gets it shipped to your door, with your choice of copper, black or silver wire wrap.

I take it that the cost is US$50.00, any idea on postage to say Australia (yeah... the great south land) cos you see this looks serious cool bro and if your planning on producing a batch in say March 2012, then my response would be "I gotta get me one of those" :-)
